Kylie Kelce Reveals Whether She or Husband Jason Said ‘I Love You’ First — It’s Not Who You Think! 

Kylie Kelce is offering some more insight into the early days of her love story with now-husband, Jason Kelce. 

The 33-year-old mother of four answered fan questions on the Thursday, Jan. 29 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, including one about dropping the “L-bomb” at the start of her relationship. 

“Who said I love you first? You or Jason?” Kylie read out before answering, “It me. It was definitely me. I said it first.”

The field hockey coach said that in the lead-up to saying the words, there was some back-and-forth between the couple, noting, “We played chicken there for a little bit about it, and then I just said it because there’s that.” 

As for more details on how it came about, Kylie decided to keep the details private. 

“So I do remember when it happened [but] I’m not gonna share details because, well, I don’t want to,” she quipped. “How about that? Is that not the premise of this entire podcast?”

The pair originally met on a disastrous Tinder date in 2015 while Jason was a center for the Philadelphia Eagles. As Kylie previously shared on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, Jason fell asleep 45 minutes into their date “because he was too drunk.”

And these days, Kylie, who shares daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn. 10 months, with Jason, says she frequently reflects on how far they’ve come. 

“There are times where I look at my husband and I say to him, ‘How lucky are we? How crazy is it that we get to do these things? How crazy is it that our kids get these opportunities? How crazy is it that we get to have these opportunities, that we get to do it together?” ” she shared on the NGL podcast. “I think that all the time, literally all the time. We are unbelievably fortunate.”

Kylie is often candid on her podcast about her attraction to her husband. Earlier this month, she talked about the retired NFL star’s personal style. 

“I am the one bringing the team down. It’s me, it’s not my husband,” Kylie said, referencing her fashion. “My husband, he’s the one who’s got the swag.”

And now that Jason is regularly wearing suits for his role on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown, his style has only been elevated. 

“Don’t ever ask yourself why we have four kids. You know? That’s self-explanatory. Turn on ESPN on Monday night. I said what I needed to say,” Kylie previously quipped.
