Kim Kardashian Says She Was ‘Overwhelmed’ amid All’s Fair Criticism, Reveals How She Decides What to Address

Kim Kardashian is getting honest about the response to All’s Fair.

The SKIMS founder, who stars in the Hulu series from Ryan Murphy, told her sister Khloé Kardashian during her Wednesday, Jan. 21 appearance on the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast that she remembered a time when there was “a lot of other All’s Fair criticism,” beyond just backlash over an elephant Birkin bag (which she has since said was a fake).

“I was like, overwhelmed,” Kim, 45, said. “I’m a firm believer in addressing something head on and quickly. Whether it’s naming Kimono and then changing it to SKIMS and acting quickly. I hear you.”

She added of addressing rumors or backlash, “Sometimes I wish I did act more quickly… Sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m not gonna give it attention because I can’t sit there all day and shut everything down. And then sometimes I get annoyed enough and I’m like …. Sometimes you just have to give a statement. It depends on my mood.”

While it isn’t entirely clear which “other” criticism Kim was referring to over her latest TV series, the reality star did clap back at negative reviews of All’s Fair upon its release by sharing screenshots of telling X posts to Instagram. “Some of the worst acting I’ve ever seen in my life alongside the most predictable storylines and the most ridiculous styling,” one of the messages read. “I’m obsessed, I need 14 seasons. #AllsFair.”

“Have you tuned in to the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!? All’s Fair streaming now on @hulu and @disneyplus,” Kim captioned the post.

The series also stars Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Naomi Watts, Sarah Paulson and Teyana Taylor. In it, Kim appears as lawyer Allura Grant, who leaves a male-dominated firm to open a practice with her peers.

Speaking with PEOPLE for an exclusive cover shoot ahead of the show’s release, the cast opened up about their close bond and how they shared gifts with one another during the shoot. “I had the best time, I really did,” said Paulson, 51, while Close, 78, added that “Sarah and Kim sometimes could not look at each other without laughing.”

Ryan Murphy Productions announced on Nov. 24, 2025 that the series would be renewed for another season. Season 1 of All’s Fair is now available to stream on Hulu.
