Khloé Kardashian may have always known what her daughter's name would be, but her ex Tristan Thompson had other plans.
During the Wednesday, March 4 episode of Khloé In Wonder Land, the Kardashians star, 41, shared that the professional basketball star, 34, wanted to name their daughter, True, 7, after the popular Game of Thrones character Khalessi, played by actress Emilia Clarke in the hit series.
“And then for True, there was no real options. I just knew it was True. I loved the name True. But Tristan wanted to name her Khalessi," she said. "This was in the big Game of Thrones era. And I just knew we weren’t naming her Khalessi. But I think that was the only name I could think of. But it wasn’t going to happen.”
“Khalessi…crazy,” she added, laughing to herself.
The reality star went on to explain the deeper meaning behind True's name.
“So True’s name is MJ’s first husband, my mom’s real dad, who passed away before my mom was like 16. His name was Robert True. And his dad was True something," the mom of two explained.
"And so my grandma when we were at dinner and I was like, ‘What am I going to name this baby? I really want a T name.’ I wanted their initials to be TT," she continued. "And she was like, ‘Why not True? That’s your grandfather’s name.’ Anyways, that’s where that name came from."
The reality TV star first became a parent in April 2018 when she welcomed her daughter. Her son, Tatum, arrived in July 2022. During last week's episode of Khloé In Wonder Land, Kardashian shared her thoughts on exposing her kids to the online world. She said that her kids may be aware that she's famous and comfortable around cameras, but they don't have social media or Internet access.
"It's normal to them to experience paparazzi. It's strange, but that's the norm. They're not questioning it," she shared. "And they don't have social media. They don't have the Internet in any way. My kids don't have Google. They don't have anything like that. So, they don't know what even that means."
"It's just a different world. I don't know how to explain it really," she continued. "When they're old enough, they will figure it out. I don't believe kids — my son is 3 [and] my daughter's 7½ — [should] be on social media in my opinion. They don't need to know about the Internet."

The proud mom went on to reveal that her children don't even truly know what TikTok is.
"My daughter will be like, 'I want to film a TikTok.' They don't know what TikTok is because I never talk about TikTok," she explained. "They think that means a dancing video, and so we'll just film dancing and that's them dancing on my tables and just having fun. But, they don't know about like trending sounds unless I show them something."
Kardashian also revealed her potential timeline for her daughter getting a phone. She shared that she's thinking about getting True a phone for her golden birthday, which will be when she turns 12 years old on April 12, 2030. However, the doting mom won't be quick to allow her on social media when she does get a phone.
"That doesn't mean she'll get social media. That means she gets a phone," she shared. "I don't think kids should have social media until, I mean, I would love 16 [or] 17, but a phone we're discussing on her 12th birthday."
