Chase Stokes is proud to be in Kelsea Ballerini’s corner.
A day after the country superstar, 31, performed a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, Stokes, 32, celebrated her career milestone in a touching Instagram post.
“To make a record your way, with your people, and sell out the most famous arena in the world, made my heart explode out of my chest, and a little water out of my eyeballs,” confessed the Outer Banks star.
“I’m so proud to be in your corner, to be on your team, and be your partner on this journey of life. I love you, I’m so proud of you,” the actor’s caption continued.
Stokes’ post included a sweet photo of the two sharing an embrace backstage and a snap of their hands in each other’s jeans’ back pockets.
In addition to including a video of Ballerini arriving at the scene of a crowd lined up outside the arena, he showcased a photo from the show on his Instagram Stories.
“My love, you did the most incredible thing (including making myself and everybody bawl for a bit). I’m so proud of you. MSG. New York. Yall showed up and showed out. KB, I f—— love you,” he wrote underneath the photo.
On TikTok, a fan posted a video of Stokes overwhelmed with emotion as he watched Ballerini, whom he began dating in January 2023, perform.
The songstress — who recently announced a 30-city, three-month-long North American tour supporting her new album Patterns — thanked Stokes for his support in her own set of Instagram posts.
In one post, the musician shared a carousel of photos and videos from the concert, beginning with a snap of her and Stokes.
“You’ll never know how much i needed you 🤍,” she captioned the post, to which Stokes commented, “And you’ll never know how much I needed you ❤️.”
Another post showed various angles of Stokes watching Ballerini performing the track “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak.”

Ballerini sweetly captioned the post with some of the song’s lyrics, writing: “thanks for all you didn’t have to do 🤍 to the men that love women after heartbreak, at madison square garden last night.”

The musician recently confirmed to PEOPLE that the two have reached a new relationship milestone by moving in together. “Oh, we’re unpacked, baby!” said Ballerini.
Ballerini’s 2025 tour kicks off on Jan. 21 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich.
