KATSEYE is trading the stage for the big screen, and fans have one burning question. The global girl group is releasing its first-ever theatrical documentary, KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, and with member Manon Bannerman currently on hiatus, EYEKONS are desperate to know whether she will turn up on screen.

When Does the KATSEYE Documentary Come Out?
Mark your calendars for August 12, 2026. That is when KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS begins its limited theatrical run-in cinemas worldwide. The timing is no accident, landing just two days before the group drops its third EP, WILD, on August 14, 2026. Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Nadia Hallgren, the film comes from the same team behind Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, and it promises never-before-seen footage, fan clips, and interviews billed as a love letter to the group’s fandom.
How Can I Watch the KATSEYE Doc?
For now, the only way to catch KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS is in theaters. The documentary is getting a limited worldwide run rather than a wide release, and tickets are available through the film’s official website. There has been no word yet on a streaming home, so EYEKONS hoping to watch from the couch may have to wait. If seeing it on the big screen is the goal, grabbing tickets early is the safe bet.
Is Manon in the KATSEYE Movie?
This is the question on every EYEKON’s mind. Manon has been on hiatus from KATSEYE since February 2026, when the group shared that she would step back to focus on her health and wellbeing. She sat out the group’s Coachella set and does not appear on the WILD EP, which made her role in the documentary a real mystery. When the trailer dropped, though, sharp-eyed fans spotted Manon in several clips, since the film chronicles a chapter when she was very much part of the group. The catch is that the official promo lists fresh interviews with her five bandmates, Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeong, and not Manon. The group has kept things warm, insisting there is no bad blood while they cheer her on from afar.
