Karoline Leavitt will still support President Donald Trump after leaving the White House.
While on her last flight aboard Air Force One as the White House press secretary en route to Trump’s rally in South Carolina on Friday, August 21, Leavitt told reporters that she would return to MAGA Inc. after leaving her post, NBC News reported.
She worked for Trump’s super PAC before serving as Trump’s national press secretary, and later White House press secretary.

Leavitt said she would be back with MAGA Inc. in September for the Republican midterm convention after taking time off to spend with her family, according to USA Today.
PEOPLE has reached out to the White House for comment.
News of Leavitt’s next role comes more than a week after Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Aug. 12 that she would be “departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family.”
Although details of her new role were not announced, Trump said in his announcement that “Karoline will now be one of my top outside advisors, and an influential voice within the Republican Party, as we work to defy History, and conclusively win the Midterm Elections.”

She also previously shared on X that Trump had “asked me to continue serving as a top advisor to him on the outside.”
Leavitt returned from maternity leave in mid-July after temporarily stepping away from her post in April.
