Josh Allen is in his manifestation era.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 30, shared what he hopes to tell his baby daughter, Harper, about his 2026 team if she asks what his first NFL season as a dad was like when she grows up.
The topic arose after an NFL Network host put forth a hypothetical scenario in which Allen and his wife Hailee Steinfeld’s baby girl researches her dad’s life and career as a franchise quarterback when she’s 18 years old and asks him about the kind of team they were that season.
“Hopefully she’s sitting there saying, ‘This picture of you holding me on the field under the confetti is pretty cool.’ That’s the vision that I have,” Allen said of his four-month-old daughter in an interview from Bills training camp, published on Wednesday, Aug. 12.

“What I’d tell her is that we work really hard, and that we’re a team that loved each other and accomplished something so great,” the Bills quarterback said.

Allen also elaborated on the hard work displayed by the athletes on the team, in addition to the support system they have around them. He gave a shoutout to the partners of the players, too.
“It takes a lot of sacrifice from those around you, everybody in the building here and outside… all of our wives and girlfriends making sacrifices for us to come out here and do what we do,” Allen told NFL Network, adding, “But hopefully she can see that there’s a lot of love on this team.”

Allen has opened up about his daughter in various interviews since her birth, and spoke candidly about how her arrival has changed the way he prepares for football.
“I love being a dad,” he told PEOPLE during a conversation in early July about extending his partnership with Natrol and how he’s incorporating additional products from the brand into his routine this season.
Allen admitted that his sleep schedule is “definitely not” what it was before Harper arrived, however, and getting enough sleep is crucial for an NFL quarterback.

“You learn about the unpredictability of what sleep is and just the interrupted part of it, but again, I love being a dad and I welcome that, but when I know I can get that extra sleep and having Natrol at the ready has been life-changing for me,” he told PEOPLE.
The Bills kick off their preseason matchups with a home game — at their brand-new $2 billion Highmark Stadium — against the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 15. They play their first game of the regular season on the road against the Houston Texans on Sept. 13.
Allen told PEOPLE in July that he thinks “the fans are going to absolutely love” the new stadium and he’s “excited for new memories, and a new, fresh vibe” there.
The quarterback, who was named league MVP for the 2024 season, married Steinfeld in May 2025. They announced Harper’s arrival on April 2.
