Jordyn Woods Flashes Massive Engagement Ring at Christmas Day Knicks Game After Karl-Anthony Towns Proposed

Forget the basketball, Jordyn Woods brought a new rock to the court.

The newly minted fiancée of Karl-Anthony Towns put her engagement ring on full display when she arrived to Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day to support the New York Knicks star after he proposed to her.

Woods, 28, who’s been in a relationship with Towns, 30, for five years, flashed her massive sparkler in a series of photos shared to her Instagram on Friday, Dec. 26. She posed on the basketball court after the Knicks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The look for the night was wintry, featuring a white and brown furry coat that doubled as a dress with an oversize white belt layered atop the statement piece. She paired it with white lace tights with a floral pattern and an exotic Hermès Birkin.

While all eyes were on the engagement ring, Woods’ shoes were noteworthy (think ice skates, but in heel form!). She wore white, laced-up stiletto ankle boots with a blade that doubled as a platform, resembling that of a figure skate.

“turned the garden to an ice rink 🤍❄️ I’m overwhelmed with all of the kind messages, love you guys!!!!!” she captioned her Instagram carousel.

For her glam, Woods tied her hair back into a high ponytail. Her makeup was simple, tying in a shimmery white eye shadow on her lids, a winged liner and a natural lip shade.

Woods’ social media post came the morning after the Knicks defeated the Cavaliers 126-124, and one day after she and Towns announced the news of their engagement.

“Marry Christmas 🎄❤️💍,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post on Dec. 25.

The photo roundup featured shots of Towns getting down on one knee at Overstory, a rooftop bar in New York City.

Woods could be seen wearing a white fuzzy coat and a white dress underneath with her hair styled in a sleek ponytail, as Towns wore a suede coat and black pants.

Although they had known each other for years prior, the couple began dating in 2020 and went Instagram official that September — and have been candid about their relationship since then.

When celebrating their first anniversary on Woods’ Instagram series Regular-ish, the couple reflected on the start of their romance — and how it has gotten them through the hardest of times, including the death of Towns’ mother, Jacqueline, in April 2020.

“Me and Jordyn met years ago knowing common people and just became friends,” Towns explained. “And ever since then, our relationship grew where we became more than friends. I’m not saying in that way, but just best friends. And then we started having a deeper relationship.”

“It just so happened, the COVID came and kind of brought its challenges and it kind of forced us to either pick where our relationship was going to go as friends or something more,” Towns said. “And we chose the latter.”

Woods echoed similar sentiments. “I think it’s kind of cool dating your best friend. We know each other. We know each other’s hearts,” she said. “We know each other on good days and bad days and we’ve been through a lot of bad days together.”
