Jim Curtis is feeling “real joy” dating girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.
The 50-year-old hypnotherapist, life coach and wellness author explained he’s experiencing a “real partnership” with Aniston, 57, in an interview published in the British newspaper The Times on Saturday, Sept. 12.
“There was a many-month friendship first. The drive was more natural, more organic, less needy. In the past I’ve felt this idea of, ‘I need you to be in love with me …’ I wasn’t searching for love any more. And what do I feel now? I feel real joy, real presence, real calmness, real partnership,” he said of his relationship with The Morning Show actress.

PEOPLE confirmed that the two were “casually dating” in July 2025.
Since then, they have been seen on several public outings together and in multiple social media posts they’ve shared, including one in November 2025, in which Aniston called Curtis “my life” while sharing an Instagram photo of them cuddled up.
More recently, on Sept. 2, they made a joint public appearance in New York City to celebrate Curtis’ new book, The Book of Possibility.
The Times shared more insight into Curtis’ early friendship with the Friends star. Aniston followed him on Instagram for some time before their relationship was confirmed. She also shared a photo on Instagram of his 2024 self-help book Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide in May 2025.
Two months later, they were spotted looking cozy on a yacht.

Curtis also told The Times that he and Aniston share an interest in meditation.
“We take real responsibility to go within and understand and soothe ourselves. So we meditate together. I meditate and I’ll say things like ‘I’m divinely guided’, meaning I don’t have to worry, it’s all working out,” he said.
Earlier this month, Curtis spoke about adjusting to the spotlight as a result of his relationship with Aniston.
He said on the The Jamie Kern Lima Show that seeing his name in headlines “was new,” adding, “And, you know, just to be quite honest, that was something to get used to. I’ve been pretty public for a long time, but never this level.”
The transformational coach said, “No one’s really cared who I’ve dated in the past, so that was an adjustment for me, but it was a real learning experience, too.”
