Jennifer Aniston is a supportive girlfriend.
During a chat at 92nd Street Y in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 2, to discuss his latest work, The Book of Possibility, hypnotherapist and author Jim Curtis, 50, revealed that he sought out the actress’s opinion on the cover for his new book.
“The book came really easily,” he said about the writing process. “Kind of just was ready and still done. I wrote it in a couple months and it was time.”
“And so the hardest part was fighting my own ego over the cover,” Curtis added. “‘What color should it be? Is that a good enough picture? How does my hair look?’ You know.”
“How many times have I asked you, ‘Is this a good picture of me to put on this cover?’ ‘Should it be gold? Should it be gold writing?’ ” he asked Aniston, 57, who joined him in conversation at the event.
“You got a good picture,” the Friends actress quipped shortly afterward.
According to an official synopsis, the transformational coach’s new book “draws from his own health challenges and decades of experience” to reveal “how subconscious patterns quietly shape your health, relationships, confidence and sense of fulfillment — and how to break free.”
“Each chapter weaves together reading, guided listening and reflective writing to engage the senses and deepen self-discovery,” it continues. “Hypno-meditations, compassionate prompts and coaching-style questions help you uncover what lies beneath the surface and teach you how to harness that inner potential to create meaningful change in real time.”
The 92NY event marks a rare joint appearance between the couple who went Instagram official in November 2025, with Aniston sharing a birthday tribute to the health and wellness expert.

“Happy birthday my love Cherished ❤️,” the Morning Show actress captioned a photo of herself with her arms wrapped around Curtis.
A few months later, during a January appearance on The Today Show, Curtis revealed that he and Aniston had been dating for “a long time, months now, almost close to a year.”
“She’s very happy and comfortable,” a source told PEOPLE of the pair’s dynamic that same month. “He’s just so sweet and supportive of her. He makes her everyday life better.”
