Jenni “JWoww” Farley and her fiancé Zack Clayton Carpinello are turning to another Hollywood power couple for inspiration.
On Friday, Nov. 8, the Jersey Shore star, 38, spoke exclusively to PEOPLE at the premiere of her new horror film Devon — which also marks her directorial debut — and revealed that she and her fiancé look up to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.
“I’m definitely gonna end up like Goldie Hawn,” Farley says, revealing that she and Carpinello take their relationship day by day.
“I really think she did it the right way,” she adds, referring to the First Wives Club star’s decades-long relationship with Russell, 73.
The reality star went on to explain that she thinks there is “something so beautiful” about the dynamic between Hawn, 78, and Russell, specifically the way “they just love each other.” She also noted that she and Carpinello strive for a similar “authenticity.”
“I feel like, you know, [Hawn] always said that [Russell] could leave at any time, and he [chooses] not to. And I always say that to Zack, and he always says it to me,” Farley tells PEOPLE, adding, “But we don’t wanna go anywhere, and we’re going on six years. So I find that beautiful.”

Farley also shared that she hopes her two kids — Meilani, 10, and Greyson, 8, whom she shares with ex-husband Roger Mathews — will look up to Carpinello someday, just like Hawn’s daughter Kate Hudson does with the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 actor.
“The way Kate Hudson talks about [Russell], it is how I hope one day Meilani and Greyson talk about Zack when they’re older,” Farley explains.
Hawn and Russell — who have been together since filming 1984’s Swing Shift — never married, opening up to PEOPLE about their decision back in 2020.
“It’s not about the marriage,” Hawn said at the time. “It’s about the people and the relationship and the will to stay together. And that’s a big one because if you want it, you can have it.”
Farley and Carpinello got engaged in 2021, after two years of dating, when the former wrestler popped the question on top of the Empire State Building in New York City. Farley shared a photo on Instagram of the couple kissing moments after the proposal took place, captioning it: “On 2.27 I said yes on the top of the Empire State Building 💜💗 @zackclayton.”
Since then, the pair have been taking their time, though Farley previously told PEOPLE that they might elope if they ever do eventually tie the knot. She also revealed that her dream destination would likely be “Italy or Spain,” adding, “I haven’t really thought about it.
