Jenna Bush Hager’s daughter is another year older!
On Sunday, April 13, the Today with Jenna & Friends host, 43, celebrated her daughter Mila’s 12th birthday by sharing a sweet tribute to the tween on Instagram.
The proud mom’s birthday post featured a series of photos of Mila happily enjoying a few of the simple things in life — a cuddle with her cat, delicious food and some sibling bonding with her 9-year-old sister Poppy. Jenna also included two snaps of the mother-daughter duo posing together.
In the post’s caption, she wrote a sweet message to Mila, highlighting her special personality and interests: “Twelve years of our darling girl–Mila we LOVE all of who you are: all heart, spirit and humor. You burrata, cat-loving, Grays Anatomy queen! We love you so!”
Jenna shares Mila and Poppy, along with 5-year-old son Hal, with her husband, Henry Hager.
A few weeks ago, Jenna was joined by her husband as a guest co-host, and the couple received a sweet message from their three kids as they took the stage.
In the video, Henry got some support and good luck wishes from his kids. “I bet you’re gonna do the best,” Hal said to his dad.

“Dad, good luck and do what you practiced in the car because it was really good!” Mila hilariously said. “Good luck, Dad!”
After watching the video, Henry called the message “so sweet.”
“You managed to get our kids into the Today show,” he added. “Well, it’s your favorite thing, right?” Jenna asked her husband.
“Not really,” Henry admitted. “But that was so sweet.”
Back in December, Jenna’s good friend and coworker Savannah Guthrie shared a carousel of photos on her Instagram as the two families attended the White House holiday press party. In the photo, the Today co-hosts posed together in front of a Christmas tree, while their daughters stood in front of them and smiled.
Guthrie also included a video of her daughter Vale and Jenna’s daughter Mila dancing and twirling around at the party.
Guthrie’s carousel also featured a picture of the girls at the end of the party, posing on a red truck while Mila feigned a yawn. Vale rested her head on Mila’s shoulder as the photo was snapped.

Jenna also shared scenes from the party on her own Instagram, including a photo of the proud mom trying to kiss her daughter, who was pictured attempting to get away. She included snaps of the girls eating dinner and checking out the different rooms at the party, as well as a photo of Mila with her grandmother Laura Bush.
“What a magical night–seeing old friends! Seeing this special place through my Mila’s eyes! Wow!” Jenna wrote in her caption.
She added: “Thanks so much for having us @potus. Had you told my 22-year-old self, I’d be back at the press party, I would have never believed it! @savannahguthrie @sheinelle_o @libbyleist.”
