Jason Kelce is having a flipping good time after retiring from football!
The Monday Night Countdown analyst was seen on the streets of Philadelphia last week likely filming for his new show, They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce, which premieres on ESPN next month.
Kelce, 37, drove an Eagles “helmet car” golf cart while wearing a Mummers costume through various locales in Old City, according to posts on social media — but in one clip, the former Eagles center’s center of gravity was seemingly upended when he overturned the vehicle!
For Kelce — who is expecting a fourth daughter with wife Kylie — life after the NFL hardly means the former athlete is taking it easy.
“My husband is busier than he has ever been,” Kylie, 32, said last week on her new podcast Wave Sports + Entertainment’s Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce.
She continued, “I see him less now in retirement than I did when he was playing football. We had a set schedule then. Now, it is an absolute free-for-all.”
Aside from his New Heights podcast with brother Travis Kelce, Jason appears weekly on ESPN’s Monday Night Football pre-show, and he announced late last month that he’s set to host the Friday night talk show on the same network.
“For me, the biggest thing that players miss when they leave the sport is being around the guys,” Kelce said on Jimmy Kimmel Live alluding to how his new ESPN show will enable him to spend more time with his wife and their daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3½, and Bennett, 20 months.
“Being able to have the show, where we’re gonna have a bunch of guys up there, legends of the game, friends that I’ve played with, coaches, celebrities,” Kelce continued. “While also incorporating NFL films, who’s going to be a part of it.”
