Jane Seymour is marking her 75th birthday, and it's an all-year celebration!
The Emmy winner caught up with PEOPLE to reveal her latest birthday plans, which include a dinner with friends, a few family reunions and supporting causes close to her. Seymour spent her actual birthday on Sunday, Feb. 15, attending a memorial for a close friend who died, followed by "a private dinner party" hosted by two other close friends, she says.
"Then on the 16th, when my family are all back from their travels, we're all getting together for lunch. So that would be my twin [sons], John and Kris and their wives, and my daughter Katie Flynn and [son] Sean Flynn, and possibly [daughter] Jenni Flynn and the grandchildren," Seymour says, listing off her loved ones.
Beyond Monday's get-together, Seymour says she's planning a "proper small gathering of close friends" for March 1 and a "big party" as part of an event for the Open Hearts Foundation, her nonprofit organization that supports emerging nonprofit charities through grants and volunteering programs, in April.
"And then in the summer, when my sisters and all the cousins and babies arrive, we're going to have a gathering — I hope — in the beginning of August," she says.
Saymour adds, "So I will have absolutely celebrated my birthday for the whole year."

When asked about her "beauty secrets" as she marks her 75th, Seymour tells PEOPLE that she's a "great believer in exfoliating and protecting my skin." She uses Crépe Erase by Body Firm and exfoliates "every day." She also sticks to retinol overnight cream.
"I'm a great believer that if I eat well and I hydrate, that my skin definitely looks better," she adds.
Seymour also points to sunscreen and Wallaroo hats (which "have protection when you wear them"), as well as keeping herself "out of the sun" as much as she can.
"And of course, I eat really good vegetables, fruits," she says, adding that she falls back on a vitamin pack when she's in a crunch.
Seymour also celebrated her birthday on Instagram, sharing in a video that "one of the most important things" in her life has been the legacy of her mother, Mieke Frankenberg, as she detailed her excitement surrounding the latest developments with her foundation.
"On my birthday, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and support," she wrote in a caption, with a heart emoji. "It means more to me than you know. My greatest wish this year is that each of you use something uniquely yours to make a difference."
Last month, Seymour spoke with PEOPLE at AARP's annual Movies for Grownups Awards in Beverly Hills, where she revealed that she's currently working on her memoir, which has been an "absolutely fascinating” experience so far. “I'm trying to figure out what to do with all the material I can't put in the book. I'm actually trying to think out of the box,” she said. “I want to make sure that the book is great and it has a purpose, but then I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rest of the stories.”
