Ali Brunson is your ticket inside.
Couldn’t make it to the NBA All-Star game? No fear because New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson’s wife is your all-access pass, giving PEOPLE a behind-the-scenes look at the basketball-filled action from courtside and beyond.
Shared in an exclusive PEOPLE photo diary, Ali snapped pics that chronicle the hours leading up to and moments after the anticipated NBA matchup that features the league’s top 24 players held in San Francisco on Sunday, Feb. 16 this year.
Brunson played for Kenny Smith’s Young Stars during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game, one of the four teams that participated in the tournament’s new format. He was a starter alongside All-Star teammates Jaren Jackson Jr., Jalen Williams and Darius Garland.
Ali has been by Jalen’s side since their romance first began in high school; the pair got engaged in September 2022, wed in July 2023 and welcomed their first baby together in July 2024. Her support for the athlete has continued in the decade that followed their meeting. This game was no different.
In fact, it was a family affair! The couple’s firstborn daughter Jordyn James Brunson cheered her dad on from the stands (so much so that she snoozed throughout most of the game), alongside the basketball star’s parents, Sandra and Rick Brunson, and his sister, Erica Brunson.
Despite Team Kenny’s loss to Team Chuck in the first semifinal, with Team Shaq defeating the latter 41-25 and ultimately winning the entire tournament, the NBA All-Star Game was filled with high-energy and family fun for Team Brunson.

Breakfast of Champions

A different city hosts NBA All-Star Weekend annually. This year, it was held in San Fransisco with the 74th All-Star Game played at the Chase Center.
“I always love to explore the city by going for a game day walk,” Ali tells PEOPLE exclusively before heading to the arena. “In San Fransisco, I walked to Boba Guys, Chinatown and down Market Street.
‘Fit Check

Ali’s game-day outfits never disappoint, so naturally, her All-Star Game look was next-level cool. She wore head-to-toe denim, rocking a custom jacket in tribute to Brunson complete with his name, number and image on the back.
The NBA W.A.G. went undeniably fashionable, yet kept it functional too. “My outfit for the All-Star Game was simple this year because I knew Jordyn would be in the carrier and we would be running around all day,” she tells PEOPLE.
Lily McArthur (known as @denimdesignsbylv online) is the creative behind the jacket, who painted a near-identical portrait of the New York Knicks star. “It was incredible!” Ali says of the personalized piece.
Ride in Style
Chevy Wilkins for Jeep
Ali made her way over to the Chase Center in style. She cruised over in a silver whip thanks to her Jeep family, “taking care of a few lucky W.A.G.s at All-Star Weekend by providing them with the most luxurious and comfortable ride.”
In celebration of NBA All-Star Weekend and Valentine’s Day, the basketball ladies teamed up with Jeep to create “the perfect moment” to celebrate the women behind the game with “Queens of the Court,” Ali says.
The Galentine’s Day experience, which was curated by Brooke Rose and Tara Bernstein, “gave their flowers” to the “powerhouse women in sport,” she adds of athletes and agents to the wives and girlfriends involved.

Ali had her little one by her side throughout the entirety of the day, a dynamic duo that makes up Brunson’s ultimate cheer squad both on and off the court.

Dreaming of a Win

Despite the thousands of people in attendance and the screaming fans surrounding them, Ali noted that her little girl somehow managed to get a snooze in during the tournament. (Perhaps, she was dreaming of a win?)
“Jordyn fell asleep on me during the whole All-Star Game!” she tells PEOPLE.
Go Jalen Go!

Ali snapped a pic of her husband mid-game, featuring the athlete eyeing his wife from the court and throwing up a sweet hand gesture for the shot.
“Quick hello to Jalen who was on the court already,” she tells PEOPLE of the photo taken amid the historic game, given the new format introduced to the tournament this year.
The All-Star game consisted of four teams, three made up of the 24 All-Stars and one made up of rising basketball stars who played a mini-tournament of games to 40 points. Ultimately, Team Shaq (Shaq’s OGs) was victorious.
