An influencer is speaking out after her husband was found bloodied, bruised and alone outside of a hotel.
In a series of posts to social media on Tuesday, March 31, Kristin Gallant, a parenting coach and co-founder of Big Little Feelings, detailed a scary ordeal that left her spouse Tyler hospitalized in Desert Regional Medical Center’s ER for their 10-year-anniversary.
“Not quite the ending to our 10 year anniversary trip that we had in mind,” she began as the lengthy caption to an Instagram carousel. “Yesterday was one of the longest, scariest days of my life, not knowing if Tyler was okay, not knowing anything, really.”

Her post started off with a photo of her arm wrapped around his as she joined him in a hospital bed, his gown visible, as well as bandaging from having blood drawn and an electrode patch.
Another image showed just their hands, documenting his scrapes, redness and dirt in his wounds.
Kristin’s upload ended with a selfie of them together. Tyler’s face had a gash going down his cheek, with a smaller gash on his eye and stitches on his brow.
Both on her Instagram Stories and in the comment section of her initial post, the influencer clarified that Tyler had not been beaten or mugged.
“he was found outside our hotel badly bleeding from hitting his head after either passing out or having a seizure,” she wrote on her page, thanking her followers for their “genuine concern.”
In additional images shared to her Instagram Stories, Kristin showed Tyler awake and responsive in his hospital bed, making a funny pose. “[I]f you think this is bad, you shoulda seen him when he was brought in. It. Was. Traumatizing,” she wrote.
She also shared that the incident happened after Tyler went to get coffee, and she assumed that, after hitting his head “extremely hard on a metal planter,” he crawled on the ground, resulting in him getting scraped up badly.

Kristin let everyone know Tyler was “awake,” “making jokes,” and also “standing up” and that his CT scans were normal, but there were other tests that still needed to be performed.
On Wednesday, April 1, she and Tyler went home.
“Tyler is officially discharged, tests all came back normal, and he’s walking out (ok, rolling out) of the hospital his wonderful normal self, albeit with some scrapes, stitches and scratches,” Kristin said in an Instagram update.

She also thanked the staff at Desert Regional Medical Center, referring to them as “angels on earth,” as well as the couple’s nanny, who stayed longer than her usual three days to make sure their kids were taken care of — even making bunny pancakes.
“And now, we head home to squeeze our babes and for me to literally never let him out of my sight again and stare at him for the next 20-40 years straight. NO MORE COFFEE RUNS, EVER,” she wrote.
