Influencer Lexi Hidalgo is now a bride-to-be!
On New Year’s Eve, Hidalgo, 24, shared that her longtime love, personal trainer Gabriel Garcia, surprised her with a beach proposal. Garcia popped the question on Dec. 27, according to the date of a video taken moments after the proposal, in which the couple excitedly jumped up and down while shouting, “We just got engaged!”
Hidalgo — who has 2.6 million followers on TikTok and more than 660,000 followers on Instagram — first shared the news on Instagram by posting a video and several photos from the oceanside proposal.
“I love you for always my love, I’ll marry you in every single lifetime❤️,” she captioned her post. She added the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 13:7: “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
“WE GETTING MARRIED!!!❤️,” commented Garcia, who has 20,000 followers on TikTok and almost 14,000 followers on Instagram.
The groom-to-be captioned his Dec. 31 Instagram announcement: “I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Thank you Jesus🙏🏼❤️.”

She also shared snaps of her unique, flower-shaped yellow diamond on a gold band. “The most perfect thing I’ve ever seen. Gabe created it from one of his great grandma’s broches,” she gushed. “I’ve never put something on and felt more me. I always dreamed of a yellow diamond.”
In another Instagram post, the bride-to-be shared clips of the proposal video, along with sweet moments throughout their relationship. The video was posted to an acoustic version of Taylor Swift’s “Call It What You Want.”

A surprise engagement party followed their romantic beach proposal.
“Got engaged then came home to my whole entire family surprising me 😭😭😭😭,” she titled a TikTok video of her surprised reaction. In the video, she immediately gasped and covered her jaw-dropped mouth with her hand when she walked inside to all of her family cheering.
“Nothing could have prepared me to see all our grandparents sitting around the table 😭😭😭😭😭😭 God is so good😭😭😭😭 I’m so blessed😭,” Hidalgo captioned her video, adding that her soon-to-be husband is “perfect.”
The couple appear to have been in a relationship for several years.
On Dec. 31, Hidalogo shared a sweet snippet from a throwback video in which Garcia promises, “Lexi, I’m going to kiss you one of these days. I promise you. I promise you.”
