Reflecting on her speedy labor and delivery, the newly minted mom of four shares that she felt "prepared" for every phase of labor because of all the research she did ahead of her baby girl's arrival. Her preparation helped her stay "calm and present" in the moment, creating a serene environment for her daughter.
"There is something about welcoming your fourth baby that comes with more trust in your body," she says. "Hearing her cry at 2:36 a.m. is something I will never forget. Holding her for the first time and realizing she was finally here just felt surreal."
"We are so thankful she is ours and are soaking up every second with our Birdie girl and [as] a family of six," Dede adds. "Truly, how do you stop having babies? This entire process is magical. God is so good."
The doting mom says her husband, the founder of the creator management and marketing agency Trend, was a "steady support" for her throughout the birth.
"He kept reminding me when to breathe, talked me through every wave, and encouraged me the whole way," she tells PEOPLE. "In moments that felt intense, he was calm and grounding, and that meant everything to me."
"He even ended up catching Birdie girl, which was completely opposite of our first birth," recalls Dede, who's also a mom to daughters Vivi and Rosie and son Jet. "I told him not to even look down there."

When it comes to the newborn's name, Dede tells PEOPLE she always knew that her fourth baby would be named Birdie. Even before they knew the sex of their baby, she tells PEOPLE she thought the name was "honestly perfect."
"It took some convincing with my husband, but it is honestly perfect," the new mom says. "We have a Rosie, Jet, Vivi, and Birdie just felt complete."
Dede goes on to further explain how her daughter's name was intentionally made and fit perfectly for their baby girl.
"Birdie means joy, peace, and freedom in Christ to me," she tells PEOPLE. "Blaise, her middle name, is a name we have always admired. We found out we were pregnant on the last day of our six-week family trip to Europe, so we wanted to give a nod to that season."
"And [for] the most meaningful part, my dad passed away one month before our wedding in 2012, and his initials were BB," Dede explains. "Having her be Birdie Blaise and share those same initials feels like such a special little nod to him. Plus Birdie and Brady sound so similar."
