Heather Rae El Moussa and Christina Haack Prove They Can 'Co-Parent and Co-Party' While Holding Hands on Double Date

The duo shared the screen on HGTV’s ‘The Flip Off’ alongside El Moussa’s husband and Haack’s ex, Tarek El Moussa

Heather Rae El Moussa and Christina Haack are proving their relationship as co-parents is just as strong (and fun!) as their friendship. 

The Flip Off costars highlighted their unique dynamic in a joint Instagram Reel shared on Monday, March 30. In the clip, El Moussa, 38, and Haack, 42, can be seen holding hands as they strut towards the camera in heels and mini skirts. 

In white text over the video, the pair added, “Coparenting so hard, we left the kids at home for a double date.” El Moussa also noted in the caption, “Proof we can co-parent and co-party,” followed by a clinking champagne glasses emoji.

While they didn’t make an appearance in the video, it’s likely El Moussa’s husband, Tarek El Moussa — who was also Haack’s first husband — was behind the camera along with Haack’s boyfriend, Chris Larocca. 

Despite their unconventional connection, the foursome often hang out together and even go on blended family vacations together. Haack also previously expressed how the El Moussas are her “fav couple to double date with” after an outing together in 2025.

The Christina on the Coast alum was married to Tarek from 2009 to 2016, and despite going through a messy divorce, the pair are now good friends. They share two children together — daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10 — while Tarek and Heather welcomed their son, Tristan, 3, in January 2023.

In addition to co-parenting, the trio also faced off on the HGTV flipping competition, The Flip Off, which is currently filming its second season. Haack recently teased that Larocca, who she’s been in a relationship with since October 2024, will “be involved” in season 2 as well, though she didn’t clarify how big her boyfriend’s role will be. 

While speaking exclusively to PEOPLE in 2025, Haack shed some light on how she’s able to make her unique relationship with Tarek, Heather and Larocca work. “It really takes everyone in a co-parenting situation wanting to make it work,” Haack said at the time. “I have people message me all the time to be like, ‘How did you do that? My husband's ex hates me,' or 'I could never hang out with my ex.’"

She continued, “It takes all of us, and right now there's four people in this situation — myself, my boyfriend Chris, Tarek and Heather — and all of us want to get along. All of us work hard to make sure that we're all getting along.”

While Haack has a strong friendship with Heather now, the pair did get off to a rough start. In 2024, Haack opened up to PEOPLE about their evolving relationship after they put their differences aside. “We've actually been close for a while now,” she said of Heather at the time. “We communicate about the kids all the time. She's an amazing stepmom — the kids love her so much.”

After Tarek, Haack was married to her second ex-husband, Ant Anstead, from 2018 to 2020. The exes share a 6-year-old son named Hudson together. She was also married to ex Josh Hall from 2021 to 2024, with their divorce recently being finalized in August 2025.
