Hailee Steinfeld is embracing her magic on the red carpet.
The Oscar-nominated actress, 29, made her first public appearance since welcoming her daughter, Harper Haize Allen, with husband Josh Allen earlier this year at the 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Anaheim, Calif.
At the event for her new animated feature film Hexed, Steinfeld wore a sleek black trenchcoat over a white shirt, tied with a black belt at the waist. The Oscar nominee also wore jeans and black heels.

Steinfeld last appeared at the 2026 Golden Globes, where she displayed her baby bump in a peachy pink Prada silk chiffon gown, styled by Andrew Fitzsimmons and paired with nearly 2,000 white diamonds dripping from her Repossi diamond necklace.
One month after the special outing, for which her movie Sinners was nominated for seven awards, she took to her Substack Beau Society to share how she was preparing to become a first-time parent.

“Of course, I have all the to-do lists (which you know I love), and I’ve been busy with research and the general life reorganization that happens when you’re about to have a baby,” Steinfeld wrote. “But the most profound and grounding part of getting ready for this baby has been the introspective side of it: the quiet conversations I’m having with myself almost every day.”

“While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much,” she added. “I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.”
Following the birth of their daughter, Allen, a quarterback on the Buffalo Bills, commented on finding his groove with fatherhood. “I mean, I think it definitely changes mindset a little bit. I’m very excited,” he began. “I do think this is going to be the best version of myself. You know, in all aspects, in my professional career, in my personal life.” He then praised Steinfeld, whom he wed in May 2025, for supporting his career as they navigated being parents.
“It’s such a blessing, and I’ve got an absolute rockstar of a wife that’s doing so many things right now and allowing me to be here right now and be with my teammates,” he continued, noting it’s a “special time.”

Steinfeld also shared a glimpse inside her first Mother’s Day this past May with sweet photos of her little one as well as the celebratory cards and cake she received on the day. And now that her daughter is “getting bigger,” she’s discovering a new kind of joy.
“As Harper gets bigger, I’m having so much fun putting her in little outfits — a few brands I’m loving: Baby Gap, Maisonette, Janie and Jack, and Hill House, where I just got her this precious little bubble outfit,” Steinfeld wrote for Beau Society in July.
