Gracie Abrams is celebrating her boyfriend Paul Mescal with a deeply personal birthday tribute.
The singer marked Mescal’s 30th birthday on Feb. 2 by sharing an Instagram carousel filled with intimate, candid moments from their life together.
A source tells PEOPLE that the pair are “deeply in love,” and that Abrams has been helping Mescal as he prepares to portray Paul McCartney.
Soundtracking the post was Calico Skies by Paul McCartney, which he wrote for his late wife Linda McCartney — a meaningful choice, as Mescal is set to portray McCartney in the upcoming The Beatles—A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes.
“My whole heart!!!!!!!!!! I love February 2,” Abrams wrote alongside the post. “Happy birthday ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love you both more than words could ever describe. Thank you for making everything better.”
One photo shows the couple enjoying a day out at a baseball game, sitting close together in the stands while wearing matching Boston Red Sox caps and sunglasses. Abrams holds a drink with a lime wedge as Mescal grins beside her, the packed stadium visible behind them.

Another image captures a quieter moment: a black-and-white photo of the couple embracing on the field inside an empty stadium, holding one another closely against rows of empty seats.
The carousel also includes a nostalgic black-and-white photo booth strip featuring playful snapshots of the pair, along with a tender close-up of Mescal resting peacefully with his eyes closed. Rounding out the post are sweet photos of Abrams’ good friend, Clemmy, whom she also referenced by name in the caption.
Abrams, 26, has been linked to Mescal since June 2024. The pair went Instagram official when Abrams shared a photo of herself and Mescal lying down together in July 2025 while spending time at Glastonbury, the annual summer music festival in England.
While the couple largely keeps their relationship private, they have supported each other at key moments, with Mescal attending Abrams’ concerts and Abrams joining him at the November 2024 premiere of Gladiator II.
“Despite their busy schedules, the couple is making each other a priority,” a source told PEOPLE in April 2025. “There’s no denying the strong chemistry between Paul and Gracie — true lovebirds.”
