Genevieve and Jared Padalecki Celebrate 15 Years of Marriage

Genevieve and Jared Padalecki are celebrating 15 years of marriage together!

The Supernatural costars tied the knot in Sun Valley, Idaho, on Feb. 27, 2010. Genevieve, 44, took to Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 27, to celebrate their fifteenth wedding anniversary by penning a sweet note to her husband, 42.

“To all the places we have gone and all the places we will go. Happy 15 @jaredpadalecki ❤️,” Genevieve wrote in the caption.

The Instagram reel was a compilation of sweet photos and videos of the couple and their children over the years. The post was played to the tune of “Past Lives” by Børns.

The couple met on the set of Supernatural in 2008, when Genevieve was shooting a season 4 scene as a demon in her underwear. The pair got to know each other over the course of a few months before going on their first official date.

A year later, Jared popped the question at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. In the 15 years since they tied the knot, they have welcomed three kids together — Thomas Colton, 12, Austin “Shep” Shepherd, 11 and Odette Elliott, 7 — along with a slew of farm animals.

In 2021, the Texas-based couple acted together once again on the CW show Walker, but this time, they played husband and wife.

“Being able to show her off to the cast and crew was awesome,” Jared told PEOPLE in August 2021. “She sacrificed so much while I was in Vancouver [shooting Supernatural] … She was home a lot with the kids, changing diapers and making lunches. So getting her back out with people with similar passions and interests was awesome to see. It’s good to flex those muscles again!”

Walker was canceled after four seasons. Its season finale aired in June 2024.

This week, it was confirmed that Jared will reunite with his Supernatural costars Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins for the fifth and final season of The Boys.

Supernatural starred Jared and Ackles as brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, who hunted down supernatural beings for 15 seasons from 2005 to 2020. Collins joined the show in its fourth season as Castiel. Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who starred in The Boys season 4, played Sam and Dean’s father John.

Ackles joined The Boys in season 3 as Soldier Boy and is expected to lead the prequel spinoff Vought Rising alongside Aya Cash.
