Elton John celebrated the 2025 Oscars surrounded by two of his favorite people.
At the “I’m Still Standing” singer’s annual AIDS Foundation’s Academy Awards viewing party, John, 77, posed with his two sons, Elijah, 12, and Zachary, 14, whom he shares with husband David Furnish, 62. The boys posed in between their fathers at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, all sporting black suits for the special night.
The boys even joined Furnish on stage during the event.

Chappell Roan also joined John for an incredible performance, taking the stage with the “Rocket Man” star to sing his 1974 hit “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.” In a clip shared on John’s Instagram page, he belted out the lyrics while sitting at the piano as Roan danced and sang along beside him.
John also donned a sparkly pink cowboy hat to perform Roan’s much-loved track “Pink Pony Club” with her at the star-studded event in West Hollywood.
The singer and former advertising executive, who have been together for three decades, first became fathers when they welcomed their older son, Zachary, in 2010 via surrogate. Elijah joined the family in 2013 via the same surrogate.

During a 2016 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the “Tiny Dancer” singer described his kids with Furnish as “the greatest thing in our lives.”
“If you’d had said to me 10 years ago I’d be sitting on your show married to the man I love and have two beautiful children I would have said, ‘You put acid in my drink.’ But life throws you challenges and life throws you curveballs — great curveballs — and these two children have come along at a time I never thought I’d have children,” he said. “There’s no words to describe how much we love these boys. They’re just amazing.”
