Secrets became a huge theme for the promotion of the movie, with Zendaya being asked about her rumored private wedding to fiancé Tom Holland. But her stylist and friend, Law Roach, spilled the tea earlier this year by claiming that Z and Tom got married.

As the trailer teases, Zendaya’s character, Emma, is harboring a frightening secret. While having drinks with their maid of honor, Rachel, and best man, Mike, one night, the group reveals their most shocking secrets to one another.
Emma’s secret is that she planned a mass shooting in high school but abandoned the idea after witnessing how a separate school shooting affected her community. Shen then became an advocate for gun control. The revelation, however, shocks the group of friends, primarily Rachel, whose cousin was paralyzed in a shooting. Charlie is, of course, stunned and starts distancing himself from his fiancée.
