Diana Ross isn’t stopping anytime soon — even in the name of love.
The legendary diva, 80, performed two sold-out shows at Kings Theatre in New York City’s Brooklyn borough on Feb. 28 and March 1 as part of her ongoing world tour, and during the show she told the audience about her plans to keep working for the foreseeable future.
“I’ll never retire,” said Ross, according to the New York Post, ahead of her 82nd birthday on March 26.

The shows were a celebration of Ross’ storied career, as Setlist.fm reported she performed songs from the Supremes’ “You Can’t Hurry Love” and “Love Child” to her own classics like “I’m Coming Out,” “Love Hangover” and “Theme from Mahogany (Do You Know Where You’re Going To).”
After the Brooklyn shows, Ross shared a video of highlights to Instagram. “The Brooklyn shows were like a party! It was so wonderful to make new memories with everyone at @kingsbklyn,” she captioned the post.
“I love performing with my daughter @therhondaross and was so happy to see my son @realevanross and grandson Raif,” added the superstar.
Her tour kicked off Feb. 14 at Yaamava Theater in Highland, Calif. and continues with a string of Florida shows in Clearwater, Saint Augustine and Hollywood later this month.
Then, Ross will perform a string of dates in the United Kingdom and Europe from June 22 to July 13.
“Stay tuned as more shows will be announced for 2025,” she teased on her website. “I love you.”

Last month, Ross made a surprise appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles to present the awards for record of the year and song of the year, both of which went to Kendrick Lamar for “Not Like Us.”
“May this moment remind us all of the power we hold,” she said during the ceremony, which occurred in L.A. in the wake of the recent devastating wildfires. “Even in the darkness we can rise again and keep the light of hope and love alive.”
Before Lamar’s acceptance speech, the 37-year-old rapper honored Ross with a bow.
