Dakota Johnson and Role Model were seen showing some PDA while out together recently.
The 50 Shades of Grey actress, 36, and singer/songwriter (né Tucker Pillsbury), 28, were photographed holding hands on Thursday, Jan. 23 in Los Angeles after enjoying a cozy dinner. The pair sat next to each other in a booth at Saffy’s, a Middle-Eastern restaurant in East Hollywood — chatting it up with an unknown third party.

For the outing, Johnson paired a lace black tank-top with black pants and kept her hair down and natural, while Role Model wore a grey and black patterned sweater with grey trousers. Holding hands after the meal, the two bundled up in trench coats — Johnson in black and Role Model in grey.
While neither Johnson nor Role Model have confirmed their relationship, the pair have been spotted together a number of times since their first outing in December, fueling dating rumors.
Johnson officially ended her eight-year relationship with Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin back in June 2025. A source previously told PEOPLE the pair had a very on-and-off again relationship, but were engaged for several years before ultimately breaking things off.
“Her relationship with Chris was often hot and cold, and while she always hoped they’d work out, she seems lighter and more at peace now that it’s final,” a source told PEOPLE back in November.

As for Role Model, his most recent public relationship was with social media personality and podcast host, Emma Chamberlain. After seeing one of Chamberlain’s TikTok videos back in 2020, Role Model slid into her DMs, and the two “hard launched” their relationship in a GQ feature in February 2023. Later that year, in October, they announced their split.
