Have you been trying to keep the peace at the expense of your own needs and goals?

Today’s astro-weather is asking you to get clear on where commitments or a lack of structure affect your peace of mind.

The waxing gibbous moon continues to journey through Capricorn, where it will eventually clash with Venus in Libra, creating tension between discipline and accountability and the harmony surrounding your relationships.

For instance, Saturn-ruled Capricorn wants maturity, integrity and tangible results, but Venus in Libra would much rather keep things civil, charming and diplomatic.

With these two Cardinal energies at odds, it’s no wonder the effort to make sure everything looks the part is more stressful than usual.

Keep in mind, with the moon in its waxing phase, there’s already a sense of something building in the background. Also, in Capricorn, that emotional pressure likely revolves around responsibilities, expectations, work status and boundaries.

This is all while Venus in Libra strives for justice, balance, cooperation and relationships that feel mutually considerate.

With that said, this square could shed light on where our desire for compromise and amicability is overly accommodating and unrealistic.

This could come to light in a relationship, financial decision or professional dynamic, but if something isn’t built upon a solid foundation, it will become evidently clear.

Decide whether keeping someone happy is worth compromising your professional priorities, Aries. A significant other could expect your full attention today, despite a boss hounding you about a big deadline, or a new gig that takes up a lot of your time. Be realistic about everything on your plate.

Taurus (April 19-May 20)

Is your routine genuinely working for you, Taurus? You could realize you’ve been daydreaming about a trip or an exciting opportunity but still somehow feeling stuck or unmotivated. If something is consuming you, or taking more of your time than you bargained for, fix it.
