Cuomo says Instagram, socialism making young Jews lose touch with their history, and other stories from the column

Gov: It’s a Reel nightmare

Andrew Cuomo gave some striking remarks about rising antisemitism over the weekend out East, worrying that young people don’t understand the Holocaust “because it isn’t on Instagram.”

Speaking to more than 500 people at a service Saturday at the Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach, the former governor decried weak leaders amid skyrocketing antisemitic attacks.

“I’m most shocked at the lack of outrage over the situation,” he said, “the lack of solidarity and the lack of people who have stood up and said, ‘We will not allow our brothers and sisters of the Jewish faith to endure any type of hostility.’ ”

Cuomo — who lost the mayoral election to a social-media adept critic of Israel, Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani — added, “We have to start by re-educating our young people, especially our young Jewish people.”

Young people have “gotten caught up in this new socialism,” he told the crowd. “[They say,] ‘We’re all socialists. We oppose Israel’s policy.’ God bless you. Oppose Israel’s policy. That does not justify antisemitism, and it does not justify violence and hostility against American Jews.”

He added, “They don’t understand the Holocaust. Why? Because it’s not on Twitter. It’s not on Instagram, so it never happened. But it happened. It’s real. Our young people aren’t learning that lesson. That’s what they have to understand. They’re hurting themselves.”

This is the second time Cuomo has been spotted making an address in the Hamptons. Earlier this season, he was a featured speaker at John Catsimatidis’ breakfast series at 75 Main in Southampton.

Too clothes for comfort

Olivia Nuzzi is back in print — but not in the way you might have expected. The scandal-struck journalist appears as a model in a new installment of clothing brand Argent’s long-running “Work Friends” campaign, which features an array of media and business heavyweights — including Kara Swisher, Katie Couric, Ava DuVernay and Paola Ramos — wearing the company’s office-friendly duds.

Awkwardly, given the “high-flying careerist” concert, the ad repeatedly and unnecessarily draws attention to Nuzzi’s career, er, interregnum. It describes her as a “Washington correspondent,” a role she famously left amid the fallout from her alleged 2024 affair with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., while the ad suggests that readers “see more of her work at New York magazine” (where she hasn’t worked since news of the fling broke) or “find her on Twitter” (where she hasn’t posted since the 2025 promo campaign for scantily read book “American Canto”).

As we previously reported, Nuzzi was last seen hanging in Malibu with her new boyfriend, Vice co-founder Shane Smith.

Toilet Rollie

Rolex offers the ultimate status symbol: a toilet. After Page Six reported that luxury brands are in a tizzy because the remodeled suites at the US Open no longer have private bathrooms, we’ve learned it’s even worse than that: The Swiss watchmaker, a longtime sponsor of the tournament, does have a toilet in its suite, but guests of other brands have to get on line with the regular folk when they need to drop a Honey Deuce.

“Other brands are pissed,” a source told Page Six. We reported last week that companies wining and dining their most important clients at Arthur Ashe Stadium have even floated the idea of having interns wait on the public bathroom line so their well-heeled guests don’t have to miss the action on court when nature calls. The stadium is undergoing an $800 million renovation, which has resulted in the removal of bathrooms from the suites.

US Open spokesperson Brendan McIntyre chalked the removal of restrooms up to keeping up with the times. “The decision was made to move bathrooms out of the suites for numerous reasons — a move that is now industry standard — with buy-in from long-standing and new suiteholders,” he previously said. He did not comment on the Rolex suite.

We’re standup guys

Since she asked nicely . . .  Former “The View” co-host Michelle Collins sold out two performances of her standup show “Wait, Why Don’t I Know You” at Joe’s Pub and jokingly asked Page Six throughout one of the evenings “to write a good item.” Well, here it is!

She said of her former ABC co-hosts, “I love ’em all,” singling out Joy Behar  as a favorite. Collins’ show had the crowd in stitches, including a group of teachers, for whom she bought a round. She even shared a message to them on Instagram: “If they didn’t take them off the bill, please DM me!”

Collins brings her act to LA’s Elysian Theater Sept. 24.

Viv la revolution

Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, is doing her second Fashion Week after making her runway debut in the city last year. Wilson, 22, is becoming a fixture on the international fashion circuit and has returned to New York as the face of  fashion label Desigual’s latest campaign, “Born To Disobey,” which fits neatly with her public image centering on individuality.

At the campaign launch, Wilson said she felt like a natural fit, adding she’s refused “to shut the f - - k up.” She described her style as that of a “wine drunk aunt” and said her generation needs to be “more unclean.”  “Be cringey, be fun, be wild. Stop trying to be so perfect,” she said. Wilson made headlines in 2022 when she legally changed her name and gender marker.
