Cory Wharton’s daughter Ryder is his biggest fan!
The Challenge competitor, 33, appeared on the latest installment of MTV’s Official Challenge Podcast and opened up to co-hosts Da’Vonne Rogers and Devyn Simone about balancing fame and family.
Asked how his children describe his job as an athlete and reality star to their friends, Wharton joked that he “had to humble Ryder a little bit.”
“All she’s known is television,” he said of the 6-year-old, whom he shares with his ex, Teen Mom star Cheyenne Floyd.
He continued, “Some more tea – Ryder’s in class with Dream Kardashian. And Dream and Ryder were getting into an argument about who is more famous. These girls are in second grade.”
“I’m like, ‘Ryder, don’t you ever argue with a Kardashian,’ ” Wharton said with a laugh. “We’re gonna step to the side on this argument next time.”
On a serious note, Wharton said he aims to keep his little ones humble. He also shares daughters Maya Grace, 2 ½ , and Mila Mae, 4½, with girlfriend Taylor Selfridge, 30.
“You always want to make sure that they’re humble about it and they know, ‘Hey, we’re on TV.’ They don’t think anything of it. I don’t think they view me as being cooler. It’s just what we do.”
As for Kardashian, her parents are famed reality stars Rob Kardashian and Angela “Blac Chyna” White.
