Catherine Zeta-Jones is sending birthday wishes to a very special someone.
The actress’ dad, David Jones, turned 80 on Thursday, Sept. 17. To celebrate, Zeta-Jones paid tribute to him with a sweet selfie shared to Instagram and Facebook.
“Happy Happy 80th Birthday Dad!!” the Chicago Oscar winner, 56, captioned the post. The selfie showed Zeta-Jones and her father smiling for the camera on what appears to be a boat.

“I love you with all my heart. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have a father like you,” concluded the Wednesday star, adding heart emojis.
Zeta-Jones grew up in Wales with her parents — Jones, the owner of a candy factory, and her mother Patricia Fair, a seamstress — and her two brothers.

In June, the actress shared to social media a handful of shots of her father throughout the years in honor of Father’s Day, writing, “You are a ‘Welsh Wonder!!! ‘ So proud to be your daughter. Love you today and always.”
The star of the miniseries Kill Jackie, who has been married to Michael Douglas since 2000 and shares two children with the actor, frequently shares love for her family on social media. Last November, she celebrated 25 years of marriage to Douglas, 81, with a series of throwback photos.
Her parents have also featured often in Jones’ posts, including in tributes dedicated to their enduring marriage. “Happy Anniversary to my Mam and Dad!” Zeta-Jones captioned an Instagram carousel toasting their “57 years of wedded bliss.”
