Halloween will start early at Burger King.
The fast food company is set to unveil four new menu items on Thursday, Oct. 10, based on characters from the beloved animated adaptations of The Addams Family.
“Halloween holds a special place in our brand’s history, and we know our guests look forward to seeing what delicious and kooky creations we come up with each year,” Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King North America, said in a statement.
“We know The Addams Family also has an affinity for the scarier things in life, so we’re excited to offer fans not one, but four new takes on their favorite BK products this Halloween season with these Addams Family-inspired creations,” continued O’Toole.
The first item on the menu is a Wednesday-inspired version of the iconic Whopper.

“Enjoy the iconic flame-grilled Whopper topped with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, and onions, all toasted on a purple bun that gets its hue from purple potato topped with black sesame seeds,” a press release explains.
Restaurant goers who pair the burger with onion rings or choose to have them on their own will see they are served in packaging inspired by the mysterious one-handed helper Thing.
Family patriarch Gomez will also be honored with the “Gomez Churro Fries,” which are “crispy, fried churros coated in cinnamon sugar and paired with chocolate dipping sauce,” per the press release.
The last item on the new menu is “Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake” — a soft serve mixed with chocolate cake batter fudge and topped with black and purple cookie pieces.
In addition to the new menu items, Burger King launched a limited-edition line of King Jr. Meal toys based on The Addams Family characters on Monday, Oct. 7.
