In a pickle? Burger King can help.
Burger King announced a new menu item — pickle fries! The fried dill pickle spears are battered and breaded with savory seasoning, and come with Hidden Valley Ranch sauce.
This is Burger King’s latest menu surprise in a year of size upgrades, holiday-themed items and contests.
On Nov. 11, Burger King announced that it would offer one million Whoppers for just $1 starting Nov. 12 — a “thanks a million” to BK fans who participated in the Million Dollar Whopper Contest and submitted “dream burger” concepts.
Three “dream burgers” made the cut, and on Thursday, Nov. 14, the fast food joint added them to the menu. Fans then began voting between the Fried Pickle Ranch Whopper, The Maple Bourbon BBQ Whopper and the Mexican Street Corn Whopper to determine which burger was worthy of the $1 million prize.
Earlier last month, BK announced a collaboration with Hidden Valley Ranch, offering 8-ounce “Big Dip” cups of the condiment — a big change from the typical 1-ounce size.
Big Cups were available starting Oct. 16 in select New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Dallas, Houston and San Francisco locations, and could be paired with any sandwich for free.

And on Oct. 10, the burger joint unveiled four new Addams Family-themed menu items — Thing’s (onion) Rings, Churro Fries, a chocolate milkshake and a purple-bunned Whopper.
The Burger King Pickle Fries are available nationwide in one size, while supplies last.
