Emma Heming Willis shared some very special home video footage of Bruce Willis with the couple’s oldest daughter Mabel as she turns 13.
On Tuesday, April 1, the 46-year-old British actress and model took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s big day with a tribute featuring videos and photos of her over the years, and among the images shared was a brief clip of the 70-year-old Die Hard actor snuggling Mabel as a baby.
“In the blink of an eye, she’s thirteen -our bright, beautiful Mabel Ray. I’m grateful for the joy and color she brings to our world,” Emma wrote in the accompanying caption. “She moves through life with kindness and heart, and we love her more than words can hold. Happy Birthday to our sweet girl!”

Bruce and Emma welcomed Mabel in 2012, three years after they tied the knot in March 2009. Their second daughter Evelyn, 10, arrived in May 2014. The actor also shares Rumer Willis, 36, Scout Willis, 33, and Tallulah Willis, 31, with ex-wife Demi Moore, 62.
The blended family has remained very close over the years, and they all got together in 2024 to celebrate as Mabel graduated elementary school. In fact, they’re so bonded that Tallulah referred to Emma as her third parent while sharing a throwback photo in March 2025.
They’ve also rallied together to provide updates about and support Bruce as the actor receives treatment for his 2023 frontotemporal dementia diagnosis.

In February 2025, Rumer revealed that she was modeling her co-parenting situation with ex Derek Richard Thomas off what she witnessed between her parents growing up.
“I think the thing that I’m the most grateful for is that even when they split up, they created such a beautiful foundation of prioritizing my sisters and I,” Rumer shared during an appearance on Loose Women. “That I never felt like I had to choose. They never played against each other.”
The Willis family has had a lot to celebrate recently. Bruce and Emma marked their 13th wedding anniversary in March. That same month, they marked the actor’s 70th birthday.
