Brittany Mahomes Shares Relatable Mom Moment with ‘Teething’ 1-Year-Old Baby Golden: ‘Calls for Snuggles and Celery’

Brittany Mahomes keeps it real when it comes to motherhood!

On Wednesday, Feb 4, the Kansas City Current co-founder, 30, shared a video of her baby daughter, Golden, 12 months, being worn in a baby carrier as she was “teething.”

A sad-looking Golden was resting her head against her mom’s chest while wearing a onesie in the leopard-print carrier. “Teething baby calls for snuggles and celery,” the mom-of-three captioned the sweet, relatable shot.

While she may have been feeling out of sorts that day, baby Golden had a much happier time last month when she was celebrating her first birthday alongside her mom, dad, Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, 30, her big sister Sterling Skye, 4, and big brother, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 3.

On Jan. 12, Brittany celebrated their youngest’s milestone by sharing a sweet montage video of her party on Instagram. Adorable Golden was all smiles as she marked her special day surrounded by family and friends, with the little one donning orange flower sunglasses and a tiny “One” crown in other parts of the clip.

Golden’s siblings were also seen in the video eating cotton candy, playing on a slide, in a bouncy castle, and in a ball pit.

The flower-themed bash also saw Golden enjoying a pink iced cake with strawberries around it, as well as playing with her dad.

“Celebrated our Golden girl with the best crew,” Brittany captioned the happy post.

Brittany also celebrated her youngest with a sweet social media tribute, writing, “My baby is ONE,” adding a teary-eyed and crying emoji. “This baby girl is pure joy.”

Patrick is enjoying some downtime at home as he continues to recover from his injury after suffering a torn ACL. The injury occurred in the final two minutes of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Dec. 14 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, with the athlete seen going down in pain, clutching his left knee.

Just one day later, Patrick underwent surgery to repair his ACL, and, according to multiple outlets, he also needed a repair for a torn LCL.

And despite clearly loving the chaos of being a family of five, Brittany said last year that she and her husband have no intention of welcoming another child, at least, “for a while.”

“Nope,” she said on the June 11 episode of the WHOOP podcast. “We’re done. We’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know, I mean, I feel like you can never like, say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”
