A bride-to-be was met with the most unexpected gift at her bachelorette party.
In a Nov. 20 TikTok post, a user named Monica San Luis shared a video of herself and her friends reacting to an unconventional surprise she got ahead of her wedding day.
“When your besties surprise you at your bachelorette with a video of all your exes wishing you + your fiancé the best,” she wrote over a clip of herself covering her mouth in shock while her friends quickly followed suit.
Throughout the video, the women can be seen screaming, laughing, cringing and even falling out of their seats as they watched each of the bride-to-be’s exes wish her well in the next chapter of her life.
In the comments, some people were immediately averse to the idea, calling it “awkward” and a “jump scare.”
“I would not like this,” one user wrote, while another added, “It’s a no from me.”
Some commenters even went as far as saying that the video could be “bad luck” or that the person who organized the surprise is “not a friend.”

Others, however, thought the idea was “hilarious” and all in good fun.
“This is absolutely FUN,” one commenter emphasized. “I would be cringing so bad and be so grateful for my fiancé. But this is not weird in the slightest as [people] are saying. I ended on good terms with all my exes, and they would absolutely do this for me. This is FUN girl, ignore the hate.”

“Idk why anyone’s making bad comments,” another user wrote. “Exes are always gonna make cringe comments. This is when we all just laugh at them and just thank god we ended up with our great men. This was hilarious!😂😂😂.”
Meanwhile, others were simply curious about how the soon-to-be bride’s friends pulled off the logistics behind the surprise.
“Ok but who’s keeping in contact with these men lol 😂,” one user quipped, to which another said, “Something me and my besties could never partake in because all the ex’s have blocked them all and vice versa.”
“Whose exes are willing to do this?” another user asked. “I just know mine would be so bitter about it😂. It would also be a short video fr.”
