Boy Meets World Alum Ben Savage and Wife Tessa Angermeier Welcome First Baby Together

Ben Savage and Tessa Angermeier have welcomed their first baby together, a girl, on Nov. 26.

In an Instagram post, Savage, 45, announced the couple’s new addition with a series of photos captioned, “Welcome little one.” In the photos, Angermeier can be seen holding the couple’s newborn, while Savage, wearing a shirt that reads “girl dad,” pushes their daughter in a bassinet down a hospital hallway. The pair also shared images of their little one’s hand.

Savage’s Boy Meets World co star Matthew Lawrence wished the couple well in the comments, writing, “Wow bro!! 🐣🍼 a very happy Thanksgiving.”

Actress Danica McKellar also wrote: “Congrats!!! 🥰🥰🥰.”

The couple first announced Angermeier’s pregnancy in May. At the time, they posted Instagram photos embracing each other as they held their sonogram together.

“Arriving this fall,” Savage’s Instagram caption read. Meanwhile, Angermeier’s separate post clarified when exactly to expect their baby: “November can’t come soon enough ♥️.”

The couple’s relationship began in 2018, and Savage hard-launched the relationship on Instagram in August 2018. In January 2023, PEOPLE confirmed the couple’s engagement shortly after Savage posted a photo on Instagram of Angermeier with a diamond ring on her left finger.

After also revealing his engagement news in January, the actor hinted, “The best is yet to come” in an Instagram photo with Angermeier.

The couple tied the knot in an elegant wedding ceremony at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif., in March 2023. On Instagram, Angermeier called the special day a “love party.”
