Blake Lively soaked up pre-holiday quality time with husband Ryan Reynolds.
On Wednesday, Nov, 26, the Gossip Girl alum, 38, posted a date night selfie with the Deadpool star, 49, on her Instagram Stories, showing the couple smiling while out in New York City.
“Puttin’ my night out hair to good use,” Lively wrote across the snapshot, adding beneath “I spy the Empire Hotel [if you know, you know].” (The Empire Hotel was prominently featured in Gossip Girl. Lively and the rest of the cast were frequently seen filming there, which drew large crowds of fans.)

Lively and Reynolds first met in 2010 on the set of Green Lantern. They began dating the following year and tied the knot in September 2012. The couple share four children: daughters James, 10, Inez, 8, Betty, 5, and son Olin, 2.
The date night comes amid Lively’s ongoing legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni.
On Aug. 9, 2024, the film was released in theaters, but since then, Lively and Baldoni’s legal drama has continued to unfold in the public eye.
In December 2024, Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni, 41, alleging that he sexually harassed her on the set of their film adapted from the Colleen Hoover novel of the same name.
She further accused him of trying to “destroy” her reputation with a calculated smear campaign, which was detailed in a New York Times article titled, “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.”
Less than two weeks later, she filed a formal lawsuit against the Jane the Virgin alum, accusing him of sexual harassment, breach of contract, infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy.
However, Baldoni denied all of her accusations and filed his own $400 million defamation and extortion lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds and their PR team.
After Baldoni and his co-plaintiffs from Wayfarer Studios failed to meet a deadline to file an amended complaint in their countersuit against Lively, U.S. District Court Judge Lewis J. Liman formally ended the countersuit on Oct. 31.
The trial over Lively’s claims is set to go to court in March 2026.
