Arsenio Hall had a brief connection with Pamela Anderson.
The actor, 70, mentions dating the Baywatch actress, 58, in his new memoir, Arsenio: A Memoir, available April 7. Of their time together, he recalled, "Heads swivel when I walk into The Comedy Store with Pamela Anderson on my arm. The audience stirs. Jaws drop. Cigarettes fall out of men’s mouths. I sit Pam at a corner table and go onstage for my set."
He continued, "I immediately lock in, blast off, and destroy. One of my best sets ever. I know I’m going to score twice this night. With thunderous applause roaring behind me like a tidal wave, I take Pam’s hand. She’s still laughing as I strut toward the back door of the club.”

Asked about how that date went in an interview with Esquire, Hall says that the two "became very good friends."
"I think until she got married, we stayed homies," he shared. "Pam is a very smart, talented person and we're still friends, even though our lives and our paths don't cross like they used to."
Arsenio: A Memoir will see the comedian recall some of the “unforgettable, groundbreaking interviews” he conducted during the The Arsenio Hall Show’s six-season run from 1989 to 1994. Celebrities, politicians and figures like Bill Clinton, Madonna, Magic Johnson, Tupac Shakur, Maya Angelou will all receive mentions in the forthcoming book.

Arsenio: A Memoir will not just tell the story of Hall’s career successes and celebrity interviews, but will also detail when he “made the difficult decision to walk away” from it all, per the description.
"This bracingly candid memoir offers a new appreciation for this raw talent and gifted storyteller, who nightly, for six years, hosted what felt like a televised 'party' that changed the landscape of late-night television and brought Black culture into living rooms across America,” the description states. “With this book, he does it one more time.”
Arsenio: A Memoir is headed to shelves April 7, 2026 and available for preorder now, wherever books are sold.
