The Devil Wears Prada 2 promo is officially underway, which means Anne Hathaway is going above and beyond with her outfits and accessories. (Because you kind of have to when you’re promoting a movie about elite fashion!) Our favorite so far? Her $350 East-West handbag from Warp, which we spotted in one of her recent Instagram posts.

We can’t say we’re surprised either: East-West handbags, a.k.a. shoulder bags that are horizontal rather than vertical, have been on the horizon for quite some time. Sarah Jessica Parker sported a similar style last May, while Jennifer Lawrence broke one out the summer prior. I’ve also been carrying one for over a year, and nothing jazzes up my outfits more than the uniquely shaped bag.

Llyliu Swing Zip Shoulder Bag, $28 with Prime

This zip-top bag may be only $28, but it’s got a lot going for it. Case in point: The material is “very soft and supple,” the “straps are strong” and it’s “very roomy inside,” claimed one shopper. It’s so well-made, in fact, that a second shopper said it superseded their more expensive Coach bag, testifying: “I like this bag better.”

I couldn’t find any styles with similar spikey details to Hathaway’s, but I’d be more than willing to forgo them for a top-handle bag like this one. The quilted texture is, in my opinion, a little more wearable, and something I’d reach for more often than the latter. The tassel is also a fun feature that makes the zipper even easier to maneuver.

And this East-West shoulder bag is not only a designer option, but it’s also four times less expensive than Hathaway’s. It also “looks very fancy,” according to one shopper, and is made from textured leather that helps hide the look of wear and tear over time. The strap is also adjustable, so you can fix it to sit just right on your shoulders.
