Alix Earle Breaks Silence on Feud with Alex Cooper, Admits She’s ‘Scared of’ “Call Her Daddy ”Host

The influencers have been publicly feuding since April

Alix Earle has finally addressed her feud with Alex Cooper.

The eighth and final episode of Earle Meets World‘s debut season finds Earle, 25, just after she was called out by Cooper, 32, in a TikTok originally posted on April 13. The Call Her Daddy podcaster singled out the Dancing with the Stars finalist, claiming she was starting “fake drama” to “distract” from other things going on in her life.

At the time, she only teased her potential response to Cooper, but Earle has publicly remained relatively silent about the conflict until now. In her family’s new, eight-episode Netflix reality series — which premiered on Friday, Sept. 4 — she discussed the matter with her younger sister Ashtin, 23, their mom, Alisa, their dad, TJ, their stepmom, Ashley Dupré, and Alisa’s boyfriend, Todd.

Alix opened the conversation by explaining that she didn’t know what to do or say in response to the direct callout, despite having commented on Cooper’s initial TikTok, “Okay on it!!” However, in an Earle Meets World confessional, Alix said she felt like she was “being baited into saying something,” and she admitted that she is “scared of” and “intimidated” by Cooper.

Rumors of a feud between the internet stars began when Earle’s podcast Hot Mess exited Unwell, the media network started and operated by Cooper, in March 2025. (Earle was also one of the first creators to be signed to the startup in 2023.)

In the season finale of her show, Alix claimed she found out that she was no longer working with Unwell through the media.

Looking back on how things were before she and Cooper cut their professional ties, Alix alleged that there were “constantly issues” with Unwell, and working with the business was not what she expected. TJ claimed that Alix was not given proper resources to film her podcast, Hot Mess, while other Unwell shows had crews to help with filming and production.

Alix said she felt pressured to continue working with the company, but she recalled feeling both scared of and unsupported by Unwell. She and her family also emphasized how much Alix looked up to Cooper and hoped for her to be a mentor in the industry.

“From the start, I didn’t realize things were going wrong because I was obsessed with her. I was like, ‘This is my idol. I’m so happy to work with her,’ ” Alix told her family in one scene. “And then [I] constantly felt taken advantage of and used and mistreated and manipulated.”

At one point, the social media star became emotional as she reflected, “What I was thinking — which makes me so sad for me at the time — is I was so happy. I trusted her so much, and all she did was just s— on it.”

She also referred to her appearance on Call Her Daddy, which was released in January 2025. Part of the video sees them playing a game titled “Truth or Drink.” In Earle Meets World, Alix alleged that she asked for some of the interview to be cut, but Cooper said she thought it was “funny.”

“We’re filming her podcast, and she’s having us drink before and then asking me really sexual questions I wasn’t comfortable with. But then I’m also answering ‘cause I’m drunk,” Alix claimed during the episode, speaking to her parents and sister.

“I’m imagining myself in her shoes, to take someone in college, who’s young, impressionable, you know looks up to you, and then ask them these raunchy questions,” she added in a confessional. “It’s stuff that I didn’t necessarily want to live on the internet forever.”

PEOPLE has reached out to Cooper for comment.

Alix also acknowledged that she implicated more than just herself by appearing on Call Her Daddy, since she also opened up about her family’s complicated history, namely in regard to her stepmom. Before Dupré, 41, married TJ, 53, in 2013, she was involved in a highly publicized sex scandal with former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. An FBI investigation named Dupré as an escort Spitzer had hired in March 2008. That same year, she and TJ had an affair, which led to the end of his marriage with Alisa.

In a confessional, Dupré said, “When Alix went on Call Her Daddy and brought up, you know, all of the things from my past, I felt like I lost my spark. Because for 17 years I’ve literally … worked so hard on my life, about doing the right thing by my stepkids, by my kids.”

She also noted that she was less upset by what Alix said and more hurt by what she left out of the conversation with Cooper.

Later in the episode, Alix asked her father and stepmother for advice about a text message she considered sending to Cooper and read the drafted note aloud: “I wanted to write you directly and let you know I don’t like you. I’m not gonna fall for your bait of getting into a back-and-forth online, and I don’t think you want that either,” the message began.

“You are manipulative and toxic. Go ahead and say ‘it’s just a business’ all you want, but the way you approach business is disgusting. You choose money over morals. You took advantage of me at a young age in a new industry I knew nothing about,” Alix continued. “You are full of false promises, and Unwell was a continuation of that. We had a call where you threatened me to not go to war with you, because you know how sick and twisted you are.”

The text concluded, “Go ahead, share this, use it against me, but you will no longer scare or trap me. You’re right, I may be petty, but I’m not malicious. If there’s one thing I learned from doing business with you, it’s to never do business with anyone like you.”

Dupré and TJ showed their support for Alix sending the text to Cooper, though it’s unclear if she ended up doing so.
