Alex Cooper is diving into the world of reality TV!
On March 12, Hulu announced that the 30-year-old Call Her Daddy host will be producing a new unscripted dating series with the working title, Overboard for Love. The show will be Cooper’s first TV show under Unwell Productions, which is a part of the Unwell Network.

According to the logline from Hulu, the show’s premise focuses on a group of “sexy singles” who will board a luxury yacht in hopes of finding love. However, “gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple” as the passengers may think, the tagline teases.
“As the journey unfolds, romance ignites, alliances form, and hearts are shattered,” the logline continued. “In the end, only one couple will reign supreme.”

According to the press release, Unwell Productions will produce the new series alongside Jeff Jenkins Productions — who are also behind The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives on Hulu.
Cooper is set to serve as executive producer for the new unscripted series alongside her husband and Hollywood producer Matt Kaplan as well as Mina Lefevre, Russell Jay-Staglik and Jason Ehrlich, a former Bachelor producer.

“I couldn’t be more excited that Unwell Productions’ first unscripted series —Overboard for Love — is coming to life with our amazing partner, Hulu,” Cooper said in the press release. “This project marks a major milestone for us, perfectly reflecting our vision of creating bold, unfiltered content that pushes boundaries. We’ve designed a truly unique dating show, and I can’t wait for viewers to see what Unwell is capable of.”
Cooper launched her Unwell Network back in 2023 “to bring the Gen Z audience content tailored just for them” and signed with SiriusXM a year later to expand the network’s long-form podcast offerings. The Unwell Network is a subsidiary of Cooper’s media company Tending, which was also founded alongside Kaplan.
