A Shopper with Back Pain ‘Can Actually Work’ a 12-Hour Shift in These New Balance Sneakers — Get a Pair on Sale

Plus, they provide “really good arch support”

My first job in food service taught me that not all sneakers are made equal. Wearing a worn-out pair for an eight-hour shift left me with lower back pain.

Now that I value them as the true wardrobe workhorse they are, I’m always on the lookout for a good deal on supportive sneakers. Currently, I have my eye on these New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Running Shoes. The sneakers have earned glowing reviews from healthcare professionals and shoppers with painful foot ailments alike, lauding their comfort for standing- and walking-heavy days. Better yet, they’re on sale for as little as $60 at Amazon today.

On warmer fall days, you’ll appreciate the breathable mesh upper construction that encourages airflow, keeping your feet cooler and drier when other materials trap sweat. The shoe’s cushioned midsole does the heavy lifting on comfort, with a responsive layer of foam that absorbs the shock of pounding the pavement and cushions each stride without weighing you down.

The shoes weigh just over a pound each, which one shopper described as feeling like “nothing.” While they’re not clunky with thick treads, the textured rubber outsoles still provide ample grip on slick and uneven terrain, with one shopper dubbing them “perfect” for traversing “slippery cobblestone streets” in Europe.

Complicated specs can only go so far to describe how they’ll actually feel on your feet, but the shoe’s thousands of reviews eliminate the mystery.

A reviewer with “major lower back issues” praised them as “the only shoes” they “can actually work” a 12-hour shift in, adding that they’ve repurchased the style many times.

“The cushioning feels soft without being too squishy, and they provide really good arch support, which has helped reduce foot fatigue on longer runs,” a final shopper wrote. “They’re also lightweight and breathable, so my feet don’t feel overheated even after a decent workout.”

Hurry to grab these New Balance Fresh Foam Arishi Sneakers before they return to normal price. Then keep scrolling to see more on-sale colors.
