These flexible bras feature “jelly” strips built into the band to provide a gentle lift and support. To better understand how they should fit and who they’re best for, I spoke to Kimmay Caldwell, undergarment educator at HurrayKimmay.com. Most are made from seamless, stretchy fabric that Caldwell says “should fit like a good pair of leggings against the body.”
Although they’re not meant to replace structured underwire bras, Caldwell says jelly bras are a reliable everyday, lounge, or casual support option. She also notes they work well under T-shirts and fitted clothing. Most jelly bras come in alpha sizing (small, medium, large, etc.), which can make getting the right fit tricky, so adjustable bands and straps are a must to fine-tune the fit.
