No foul play has been suspected and the Allen County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident

A 2-year-old girl was killed after she was struck by a truck in Allen County, Kan., on Monday, March 16.
The Allen County Sheriff's Office said in a Wednesday, March 18, news release that the toddler’s mother called authorities to report the accident just before 6 p.m. local time.
The mother told the dispatcher that she, her husband and the toddler were on the way to the hospital. During their drive, the mother explained what occurred, and the “calm 911 dispatcher” helped the mother assess the child's “breathing and other medical conditions."
The child was then transferred roadside into an ambulance and transported to Allen County Regional Hospital, where she later died.
The Allen County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident, and no foul play is suspected at this time. “It appears to have been a tragic farm-related accident,” Allen County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) said.
“The Sheriff's Office extends our heartfelt condolences to the family members and all those affected by this tragedy, including the Allen County dispatchers and first responders," the ACSO statement continued.
